All ISP Resellers ("reseller", "you") must abide by these guidelines. You are explicitly responsible for ensuring that your clients abide. Each of your clients must conform with these terms of service.
There are NO REFUNDS on prepaid ISP services if a client is removed for violation of policy.
Policy and Service Guidelines
We provide Internet Service to hundreds of clients, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available. The following guidelines were designed to ensure these obligations are met.
ISP Clients shall use the Service for lawful purposes only. Furthermore, they are to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is set forth below. This Acceptable Use Policy may be amended from time to time by posting such amendments to the on the ArisHost ISP web site. ISP Clients should should periodically review the web site to keep abreast of any changes to this Agreement. If ISP Client or Reseller violates the Acceptable Use Policy, ArisHost may immediately terminate or suspended the offending ISP Client or Reseller's service.
Acceptable Use Policy:
All services provided may be used for lawful purposes only.
- Using a personal account for high volume or commercial use.
- Any mailbox exceeding 10MB may, at ArisHost's discretion, be transferred to a compressed temporary file or storage. Members will be notified at that time with further information.
- Using ArisHost's ISP services for illegal purposes or in support of illegal activities as prescribed by local and national U.S. laws.
- Unauthorized copying of copyrighted material including, but not limited to, digitization and distribution of photographs from magazines, books, or other copyrighted sources, and copyrighted software.
- Exporting software or technical information in violation of U.S. export control laws.
- Posting or emailing of scams such as 'make-money-fast' schemes or 'pyramid/chain' letters.
- Threatening bodily harm or property damage to individuals or groups.
- Making fraudulent offers of products, items, or services originating from your account.
- Attempting to access the accounts of others, or attempting to penetrate security measures of ArisHost or other entities' systems ("hacking"), whether or not the intrusion results in corruption or loss of data.
- The unauthorized use of a person's name or likeness.
- Harassing others by 'mail-bombing' or 'news-bombing'. 'Mail-bombing' constitutes sending more than ten (10) similar mail messages to the same email address. 'News bombing' constitutes sending more than 10MB of data to a newsgroup.
- Sending unsolicited electronic mail (email) messages where the recipient objects to the content of the message or to the receipt of the message in general is also prohibited under this Section.
- Members acknowledge that they are expressly prohibited from utilizing ArisHost's ISP service, ArisHost's ISP equipment or any ArisHost's ISP email address in connection with the sending of the same or substantially similar unsolicited email message, whether commercial or not, to a large number of recipients. This prohibition extends to the sending of unsolicited mass mailings from another service, which in any way implicates the use of ArisHost's ISP service, ArisHost's ISP equipment or any ArisHost's ISP email address(es).
- A message is unsolicited if it is posted in violation of a USENET or newsgroup charter and /or if it is sent to a recipient who has not requested or invited the message. For purposes of this provision, merely making one's email address accessible to the public shall not constitute a request or invitation to receive messages.
- Revealing your account password to others or allowing use of your account by others (other than authorized users in your household). At no time can there be simultaneous use of the same username and password combination.
- Use of software or any device that would allow your account to stay logged on while you are not actively using ArisHost's ISP services or use the account for the purpose of operating a server of any type. Cross-posting advertisements for products, items, or services to ten (10) or more unrelated USENET newsgroups.
- Posting articles to any USENET or other newsgroup, mailing list or similar forum that are off-topic according to the charter or other public statement of the forum. Disrupting any newsgroup with frivolous, excessively vulgar, or repetitious postings. Posting of binary, or excessively large, unrelated text files to non-binary newsgroups that have specifically requested such material not be posted in the group's FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), charter or other public statement of the forum that such material not be posted. Installation of 'auto-responders', 'cancel-bots' or similar automated or manual routines which generate excessive amounts of Net traffic, or disrupt Net newsgroups or email use by others. Engaging in any of the above activities using the service of another provider but channeling such activities through an ArisHost ISP account, or using an ArisHost ISP account as a mail drop for responses.
Payment
Resellers are billed a one-time fee of $25; and a minimum monthly fee of $25 on the same day each month after the first month. Any additional orders of ISP accounts are paid for in advanced, and only in bulks of four (4).
Reseller Duties
Resellers are responsible for ensuring all clients abide by our Acceptable Use Agreement, and resold accounts are subject to cancellation for violation.
We do not have any interaction with a Reseller's client and will only deal with the reseller for any support or account related issues. We will strive to provide support for you as you support your clients, but request and recommend that you use the provided materials and knowledgeable in order to best serve your clients.
You may charge any amount you wish for our services as a reseller and use our text and information from web site and support section as necessary to market your business as long as you remain a reseller (except our own graphics or logos).
Cancellation
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our services, please let us know in writing and we wil discontinue your Reseller Account.
We make no promises of profit or income. You are responsible for abiding by laws/tax laws applicable in your place of business.
